Together, SIF and Sounders designed a philanthropic project that would have a lasting impact in Seattle as well as in Mexico City, the site of the Sounders CONCACAF matchup vs. Mexican team Club América.
Women leaders from Central America and the Dominican Republic visit Seattle to meet with local institutions working to end gender-based violence.
The work ranges from supporting indigenous communities in Guatemala through vocational training programs, to providing essential health services in Kenya, and supporting girls’ education in Rwanda.
