The Centroamérica Adelante (CAA) program continues to advance. From late September to October 11, CAA has conducted workshops in the countries of the Northern Triangle of Central America. Participants learned about strategic communication and political advocacy and presented the progress of their pilot projects to mitigate migration in the region.

Each country-based workshop lasts two and a half days. In Honduras, 10 people participated, in Guatemala, 12 and in El Salvador, 11.

Over the course of the 10-month program, the 33 CAA participants will continue to receive online trainings and advice to design their projects. The second and last regional meeting will be held in January 2020 in Guatemala.
