The report, “Acts of Violence in Nicaragua between April 18 and May 30, 2018”, was prepared by the International Group of Independent Experts (GIEI), an entity established by the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights; release of the report in Nicaragua was banned by the government of Daniel Ortega. 


The report will be presented at FIU on Thursday, February 7 at 6:30pm (EST). Organized by the Kimberly Green Latin American and Caribbean Center and Seattle International Foundation, this event will offer an in-depth discussion of its content as well as an analysis of the state of affairs in Nicaragua today.
