Investing in women and girls is a proven and effective strategy to combat poverty and promote equality in impoverished communities. SIF supports this strategy by investing in women leaders from around the world, and supporting their participation in innovative, Seattle-based leadership programs.
These programs provide opportunities for mentorship, leadership development, and a homestay with a local family. Implemented by two local partners – iLEAP: The Center for Critical Service and EarthCorps – each organization provides women grassroots leaders with a transformational leadership experience designed to strengthen their personal capacity and maximize their impact back home.
