Travel to India: Social Impact in Action
Seattle International Foundation (SIF) and The Seattle Foundation are coming together to host a donor delegation to India this October. This small delegation of Seattle-area
donors and experts will explore the innovation and impact of leading non-governmental
organizations (NGOs) working in India. The tour will include visits to Seattle-supported
initiatives, such as Landesa, PATH, University of Washington, SightLife, Splash and others.
Delegates will also participate in enriching conversations with local business and nonprofit
leaders, philanthropists, and visit meaningful cultural and historical sites. Field site visits and meetings will span a variety of issue areas including economic opportunities, education, health, land rights, leadership development, micro-finance, technology, and women’s rights.
